- 1 cup (2 sticks; 230g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream or heavy whipping cream
- 2 Tablespoons confectioners’ sugar or granulated sugar*
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
